Hello!

My name is B. J. Worth, founder of Worth Tax & Financial Service. We are excited to be celebrating the 34rd anniversary of doing taxes in Warsaw, IN the spring of 2007! In a small one room building at the edge of a mobile home park, with an electric heater, no running water and a copy machine, Worth Tax & Financial Service was born January 1, 1973!

I had my first tax training in 1964, and came to the Warsaw area with eight years of previous tax experience. After three years of going it alone, I began to teach "Income Tax Preparation School." With trained staff to help, growth was rapid. After outgrowing several locations, we were able to purchase our own property in 1990. We now enjoy being in a very comfortable professional building that we expect to meet our needs for the future.

We are blessed with a very experienced staff of tax consultants and customer service specialists. One of the most sought after designations for a tax consultant is that of becoming an EA. To become "enrolled to practice before the IRS," one must sit for a two-day exam administered annually by the IRS. Worth Tax & Financial Service is privileged to have several staff tax accountants who have the designation of EA.

Having published "Worth's Income Tax Guide for Ministers" since 1973, the "Professional Tax Record Book" since 1982, we have a large clientele of ministers from all over the world!

Taxpayers need us and we need taxpayers. Our two-fold goal is to keep our clients' taxes to a minimum and to maximize their earning power. When congress passes "so-called" tax cuts, the "revenue neutral gurus" in the bowels of Congress hunt for ways to create offsetting tax increases. The resulting complex tax language makes it imperative that you as a taxpayer let my professional preparers help you through the maze.
